"De Hoge Hop" is a home for people with Alzheimer's. It is located in Hoorn, the Netherlands. Hoorn is a city that used to be a sea-port on the "Zuiderzee". It is now on a large lake, thanks to a very large dike known as the "Afsluitdijk". I was inspired by the idea of the drastically changed habitat for birds and fish. I used boats, fish and birds that used to be around and then birds, boats and fish that are around now.
