Many of the mobiles I have made are commissioned pieces. I usually meet with clients first to see the space that's being considered. We discuss the "theme" of the mobile and my clients usually have the chance to add their ideas. I enjoy this process and find it is very fulfilling to create personalized works - something made specifically for a client with a measure of their own ideas and thoughts included.

It usually takes me a few weeks to make sketches and have an estimate ready. For larger pieces I can also make a maquette. Once we agree on a design, it will take me about three months to build the mobile. Of course, the time here depends on the size of the mobile! The cost of my mobiles start around $500. Larger residential mobiles range between $2000 and $6000. This price usually does not include installation.
