| The first mobile
I made was for the Cassis family. They were building a
new house in Chicago and had a perfect space for a mobile.
I was inspired by the vibrant city, plus the mobile has
some personalized objects in it as well. Their house is
known in their neighborhood as the "mobile house".
The Cassises have been wonderful patrons; they also own
a lot of my paintings and furniture. The Zodiac
mobile is in their house too. It was designed for
their childrens' bedroom. They will be moving next winter
and I will be making a new mobile for the house they are
building north of Chicago. |
